A good Life Coach will help you find and articulate clear values and assist you in mapping out a plan so that your daily life will match your life values. An effective Life Coach can help you manage time and change effectively.
A great Life Coach will walk with you for a season as you strive to get that promotion at work or during a more personal goal you have, such as writing your own book or growing your own business. As a certified Life Coach I specialize in coaching people through “life transitions” such as empty nest syndrome, dealing with the dementia of your parent, a divorce or the death of a loved one. Life is all about change and transitions.
As your Christian Life Coach, I can help with core values in nurturing a closer walk with God – if that is what you desire. I am committed to recognizing, and respecting each person as an individual and reassuring you that you have a purpose to fulfill. I can help you strengthen your communication skills and find focus in life.
Coaching is a special kind of relationship with a purpose marked by honesty, respect and mutual goals to help you discover your own personal hopes and dreams. I will challenge you to make wise decisions, set specific, realistic goals that are measurable and attainable.
As your Life Coach, I will maintain the strictest confidentiality and be forthright in asking you pertinent questions to maintain your success. These will hold you accountable to the plan we will come up with, resulting in you achieving your goals and taking you to a whole new level of fulfillment.
Often coaching takes place via the phone and can be supplemented with emails when required, which allows for no geographical barriers. If you live in the Triad area and prefer face to face sessions, that can also be arranged.

I have worked as a graphic designer, business consultant and publisher for the past twenty years. I founded the Mosiac Missionary Alliance, Honoring Our Elders, and The Prayer Station Ministry.
Another one of my great passions is helping caregivers learn to thrive and become more enriched on a daily basis. Unless you personally have worked as a caregiver for a spouse, parent, or friend, you can never under the challenges and emotions encountered on a daily basis. I have written several “Life Dramas” which have been performed at local churches, and I am currently authoring a devotional book for caregivers titled I Want to Go Home.
I studied Psychology and Sociology at Liberty University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I began Life Coaching when I realized I could take my God-given passions to help, encourage and assist people to move forward by discovering and defining their goals, passions and dreams.
Why the name Life Coach Maven? The word comes to English through Yiddish, which in turn derives from the Hebrew mevin (מבֿין), meaning “one who understands,” and relates to the word binah, which denotes understanding or wisdom in general.
