God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. Though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
If you are battling with an addiction ask for God’s help in overcoming it and He will provide. God knows exactly what you are going through and He knows what you need! God knows your heart and he knows you are struggling. Therefore, reach out to God and allow Him to have power over the addiction that controls your body, mind, and soul. If you continue to hold on to the addiction God will not take it away from you – you have to want to give it to Him!
- Stop running. You can run but you can’t hide from your addiction. Stop putting getting clean off until tomorrow.
- Remember, you don’t ever break a habit. If you want to get rid of bad behavior, you have to replace it with something positive ” something that will make you stronger instead of weaker. Work on identifying positive behaviors that would make good replacements for your addictions.
